Our Team at the Last IAPP KnowledgeNet Buenos Aires Meeting of the Year

Our IT, Data Privacy & AI team participated in the warm and successful annual closing event of the IAPP KnowledgeNet (KN) Buenos Aires Chapter, organized by the KN Chapter and held at Mercado Libre’s offices.

The event brought together professionals from the privacy and data protection ecosystem to exchange perspectives and best practices regarding the role of the Data Protection Officer (DPO) in a context of constant digital transformation.

The KnowledgeNet Chapters, or local IAPP chapters, are composed of professionals officially recognized by the IAPP as specialists who promote the development and dissemination of data protection in their respective cities. As part of their role, these local chapters offer and organize spaces for dialogue, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Gabriela Szlak serves as co-chair of the Buenos Aires KnowledgeNet Chapter, together with three other members of the community. Her role includes coordinating activities and discussion spaces, promoting technical exchange, and supporting the regional training and ongoing learning agenda.

At Lerman & Szlak, we celebrate spaces such as IAPP’s KN Chapters, which strengthen the professional community and contribute to the development of better data protection practices at the regional level.
