Lerman & Szlak at ASIPI 2025: Our Experience at the Buenos Aires Meeting

We were proud to join ASIPI 2025, held from November 30 to December 3 in our home  city, Buenos Aires—one of the region’s most important events for the intellectual property community.

Our firm was represented by a multidisciplinary team. From the IT, Data Privacy, and Artificial Intelligence practice, Gabriela Szlak and Luciano Gutman attended, while the Intellectual Property team was represented by Celia Lerman, María Laura Etcheverry, Shirly Galante and Florencia Fontanella.

Although Artificial Intelligence in the context of intellectual property was the central theme of the Congress, ASIPI also opened the conversation to industries that are currently reshaping the creative and legal landscape.

We especially enjoyed the fashion panel, featuring Benito Fernández alongside experts from Jacobacci & Partners (Spain) and Bulgari (Italy). Also, the panel dedicated to Taylor Swift and the new paradigm of creative property brought valuable insights and sparked new ideas about the intersection of music, strategy, and rights.

ASIPI 2025 was a deeply enriching experience for our team. It allowed us to stay updated on emerging trends, establish and strengthen collaborative partnerships with colleagues from across the region and the world, and consolidate our presence in a key space for professional development and community building in the field of intellectual property.

Being able to participate in an event of this magnitude—and having it take place in our own city—motivates us to continue growing, getting involved, and contributing value to the ecosystem of intellectual property, technology, and innovation.
